Hi all - I have just done a search on Melatonin as I’m wondering if there are any side effects after taking it for approx. 5 years. Nothing much came up and “FDA” was mentioned because they have done a new study on it (couldnt find it). I also take other herbs and just have the feeling that one of these need to be examined for side effects (just intuition as I have no symptoms). I also take St Johns Wort (6 years, 1,400mcg/day), Remifemin, High Vit B+other vits/minerals and Progesterone cream-post menopausal, (not Progestin/synthetic). Any answers on these also?? Thanks.

I will stay awake for 2 days at a time before I can go to sleep. I have tried everything I’ve read on the internet(Literally over 100 things). I have taken OTC sleeping pills, and homeopathic sleep aides. Nothing is working and my doctor won’t prescribe me anything for it, should I go to urgent care? Would they per scribe me something? I am at my wits end.

I’ve taken melatonin for migrains and it gives me really whacked out dreams. Also, much of my insomnia has to do with my husband and his snoring and general presence in our bed. I sleep great when he’s not in it - which is all morning.

Can anyone suggest any homeopathic remedies for nerves from stress. I’ve been getting them so bad lately that I haven’t slept in 3 days and I’m throwing up all that I’ve eaten.
It’s not when i’m tense or stressed at the time, it’s times when I can relax when there is no stress that I throw up and of can’t sleep. I’ve also been getting very bad head aches. So just something that can help calm nerves.
