Hylands teething tablets?Posted by admin in Hylands Homeopathic, tags: Belladonna, Sleep, Teething TabletsOphelia_Ogaard asked:
How many of you use Hylands teething tablets? I just got some last night for my daughter and I only gave her 1 and she went right to sleep…. I don’t know if it was because they worked or if she was just really relaxed, but lately she cries and screams for about 2 hours after being put to bed. My husband doesn’t believe homeopathic stuff works so now I’m curious. Also, is the Belladonna in it really safe?

Is it safe to take Hylands Nerve Tonic while breastfeeding?Posted by admin in Hylands Homeopathic, tags: Anxiety, Breastfeeding, Few Days, Homeopathic Remedy, Hotline, Nerve Tonic, Old BabyErin B asked:
I have an 11 week old baby and I’ve been having some anxiety… I also have a 2 year old. I was wondering if anyone has taken Hylands Nerve Tonic while breastfeeding? It’s a homeopathic remedy but I just can’t find much information about it on the internet. I’ve asked my Dr. and they really couldn’t give me much info about it. I’ve also called a breastfeeding hotline in my area but they said they’ll get back to me in a few days. Can anyone help???

Follow-up to hylands teething tablet question?Posted by admin in Hylands Homeopathic, tags: Homeopathic Remedy, Nap Time, Teething TabletsĀŢĿĄŜ↔ĴŮŅĶĬĒ asked:
So, now, within ten minutes of giving my daughter the teething tablets for the first time, she just fell asleep - and it’s not nap time. Is this normal. Are they supposed to make her really sleepy? For a homeopathic remedy, that seems bizarre!

Have you ever given your baby Hylands teething tablets when they weren’t teething?Posted by admin in Hylands Homeopathic, tags: 7 Months, Baby Teething, Homeopathic, Lark, Love, Reason, Single Parent, Sleep, Teeth, Teething Tablets, TrojanĀŢĿĄŜ↔ĴŮŅĶĬĒ asked:
I love Hyland’s teething tablets and I think they can be an amazing help while my daughter is teething. They take the edge off the pain and have a calming effect on baby to help them fall asleep. The other night I was sooooo tired and my daughter (7 months old) was wide awake. It was about 2 AM and I wasn’t feeling well and really needed some sleep - I’m a single parent. My daughter IS cutting her top 2 teeth but I knew this wasn’t the reason for her being wide awake. SHe was happy as a lark, just not at all sleepy. ANyway, I gave her a couple of the Hyland’s teethign tablets and within ten minutes she was asleep - finally! I have been agonizing about this since. I know Hyland’s are homeopathic and can’t harm her but I still feel like I medicated my own daughter just to get some sleep. Am I a terrible parent? Have any of you ever done anything like this? Swamy M, I tried to play that video and a message saying it was a “Trojan” appeared. What was on the video?

Hylands teething tablets?Posted by admin in Hylands Homeopathic, tags: Atropa Belladonna, Atropine, Band Wagon, Bella Donna, Belladonna, Belladonna Atropa, Deadly Nightshade, Delirium, Drug Atropine, Hallucinations, Herbaceous Plant, Homeopathic Medicines, Hyoscyamine, Nightshade, North Africa, Pediatrician, Scopolamine, Tropane Alkaloids, Western Asia, WikipediaDazed & Confused asked:
Ok so I did some research on these because I was going to use them on my daughter… but they contain Belladonna… Atropa belladonna or Atropa bella-donna, commonly known as belladonna or deadly nightshade, is a perennial herbaceous plant in the family Solanaceae, native to Europe, North Africa, and Western Asia. The foliage and berries are extremely toxic, containing tropane alkaloids.[1] These toxins include scopolamine and hyoscyamine which cause a bizarre delirium and hallucinations.[2] The drug atropine is derived from the plant. Here is the entire Wikipedia link… I was also told by my pediatrician that Homeopathic medicines are not regulated by the FDA… not that I trust them too much, but I mean I read up on this and this is really poisonous. If you use this does this article or these facts change your mind about it? I am really questioning if this is the right thing for my daughter to be using. Thanks!!
