It reported that “any therapy that makes specific claims for being able to treat specific conditions should have evidence of being able to do this above and beyond the placebo effect”.
According to Professor Matthias Egger, from the University of Berne, and Swiss colleagues from Zurich University and a UK team at the University of Bristol, homeopathy in particular has no such evidence.
They compared 110 trials that looked at the effects of homeopathy versus placebo with 110 trials of conventional medicines for the same medical disorders or diseases, including trials for treatment of asthma, allergies & muscular problems.
So just why is our government insisting on wasting resources on this and other quack so called medicines?

My grandmother had it followed by my father and later me and now my son shows symptom’s of this Asthmatic trend continuing….?! We are worried and want to cure it. the Homeopath has promised results within 10 months. He says he should not have anything from outside in medicines even for common cold. We want it cured at any cost as I know how difficult it is to live with it and how it leads to other sicknesses and an awful slow lifestyle. Anyone with any suggestions, cures, please help..Thanks

My 7 year old has been sent home from school and has been hospitalized 2x for asthma. I’ve purchased the berry green prebiotic, the omega 3’s, multivitamins, he gets the xopenex and the pulmicort and the occassional antibiotic(at which time I give the yogurt cultures simultaneouly)etc., etc. We also find creative ways of getting healthy meals into him, keep him involved with his peers and sports when he’s not sick.

I’m just so tired of the regular mainstream medical proceedure for asthma. Has anyone been helped tremendously by any other modality? I want to get the phlegm out of his chest and clear his lungs so he can take in air. It’s possible just need help and direction.

What has permanently worked for you? Why do you believe strongly in homeopathy or another alternative method? Any websites or supportive groups you can recommend–I’m searching and searching and would greatly appreciate some input. Thank You.
