Marcus asked:
I am thinking about pursuing a career in alternative medicine; holistic nutrition in particular.
I’ve searched for online programs, but for some reason i do not qualify, they say.
I have a GED and a good job, but would like to pursue this career path.
I would need to start this as an onling thing, and maybe attend school in a couple years when I can afford to take some time off.

Roland ‘The Gunslinger’ asked:
Seriously. They’re full of crap. They know that unpatentable cures exist for things such as lowering cholesteral (who the heck would want to take a cholesteral lowering drug with loads of side affects? Cholosteral is something not to be messed up), pain, chronic problems, ect. But nope! FDA and pharmaceuticals love their business in making so much money and having the public suffer. To hell with them. Homeopathy and true holistic nutrition is the key to optimal health, along with not eating food with junk like MSG, hydrogenated oils, ect, and the USDA food pyramid is full of crap too. Those people must have low ethical morals to consciously do this. This goes out to the drug companies, certain medical organizations, the oil, dairy, sunscreen, cancer industry all trying to cover things up they know will threaten their profits. Cold greedy fools. What is your honest opinion?
Great point lindajune, however perhaps having great health will result in a less chaotic health care industry, especially among the seniors or the crisis we may have when the baby boomer children become old.
drochem-What about the drugs that and have killed people in the process. What about taking minocycline and developing Lupus, which can occur, or being mis diagnosed for a pill you don’t even need. 200,000 people a year die because of medications.
