VeggieTart — Praise Seitan! asked: I am vegan, and I am also interested in natural and homeopathic remedies for minor ailments. However, I have two concerns:
1) I understand some homeopathic remedies are animal extracts or animal-based.
2) I have yet to see homeopathic pills that don’t have lactose (milk) in them.
So which remedies are animal ingredients and which are plants, and are there companies that make homeopathic tablets without animal ingredients?
Thanks!

Cord Of 3 Strands asked: I’ve done my homework on vaccines. I believe the benefit is not worth the risk, and I believe the earth is God’s pharmacy. I’m fascinated with homeopathic stuff. I’ve got a few really good books on nutritional healing and natural remedies. I treat as much of my children’s ailments at home with herbs and other Natural remedies. I was just wondering if anyone, happened to know of any good sites for the “biggies”. thanks.
autism is only 1 of the thoudands of side effects there are. SIDS, “shaken baby syndrome”, to name a few..
Also, the gov’t. has predetermined results for their tests. b4 they even did testing on the vaccine autism thing, they predetermined the “no link”.

the question u need to ask yourself is, am I going to blindly accept what the docters tell me, or do my own reserch
its a huge conflict of interest for the doctors to reserch, they blindly accept what the CDC tells them.
did u know theres aborted fetus tissue in some vaccines, did u know the bird flu virus is in some vaccines, did u know the vaccines that mercury was removed from, now have aluminum and formaldahyde instead????
I DO KNOW THE TRUTH, IT IS OUT THERE, LOOK FOR YOURSELF!!

Veratas asked:
We were forced to shave my sister’s head since she is naturally blond and blond’s were created by the devil to tempt man. She wasn’t exactly a willing spirit and so her head was burned and cut a bit during the struggle. We were successful in saving her soul, but I also want to salvage her scalp. Does anyone have any natural remedies that would heal her up and ease the pain a little for her?

Jεssιcα asked:
Does anyone know anything about homeopathic pet care or has anyone ever treated their pet with homeopathic care? I recently had one of my chinchillas at the vets and he was treated with flower essences - http://www.equilite.com Here’s a similar product: http://www.bachflower.com/ The vet first used one to calm him down (and it worked) so she could examine him and then prescribed one for me to give him to help with stress (he’s a high stress, fur-biter). I was just curious if anyone else has ever used flower essences to treat their pet or some other type of homeopathic care (ozone therapy, accupunture, and I forget what all else the vet mentioned). If you have used something natural, did it work? If you haven’t used it, is it something that would interest you or are you more into “conventional” treatments?
Joseph F - Yes SHE really is a vet and just because you don’t agree with the homeopathic method doesn’t mean she deserves to lose her license. She’s an excellent vet who provides these alternative methods to those that are interested. I would also like to mention that she does not treat serious illnesses with natural cures (like a ferret suffering from adrenal), it’s more for emotional problems (like an animal suffering from separation exciting or, in my case, a high-stress chinchilla) and can also be used with conventional treatments. They’re used to naturally treat imbalances between the mind and body. Apparently they CAN work in animals, because I’ve noticed a change in my chin already and there are tons of success stories out there. Also, the good thing about the natural remedies is, if it doesn’t work, there are NO negative side effects. You can disagree with the method, but that doesn’t mean my vet is a bad one or that she should lose her license.

I hear natural remedies being referred to as homeopathic, but I remember hearing something a while indicating this is not necessarily so. Could someone clear up exactly what makes a medicine ‘homeopathic’?
