homeopathic healing
Mookie asked:

Castor oil has been an “old folks” remedy for ions, whether digesting to cleanse colon, or applying on the skin to draw out impurities. What say you homeopaths, alternative medicine gurus, or experienced? Does castor oil have healing properties? Thanks much for the feedback!

homeopathic depression
Jack asked:

So according to Homeopathic Remedies, my treatment for depression is “Aurum Metallicum” … the description is below. I don’t know what this is, or how to go about the treatment.

I read online how its boiling a piece of gold and then drinking the water … How is this suppose to help me? Can someone please explain this treatment to me…

Thanks In Advance!

Aurum metallicum: This remedy can be helpful to serious people, strongly focused on work and achievement, who become depressed if they feel they have failed in some way. Discouragement, self-reproach, humiliation, and anger can lead to feelings of emptiness and worthlessness. The person may feel worse at night, with nightmares or insomnia.

homeopathic kidney
larechiga26 asked:

My father in law has chronic recurring kidney stones. I have never used homeopathy as a form of treatment so I am pretty new to all of this. I have read about it and understand the basic concept of it but since there no homeopaths here where I live I would need specific information on how to administer it & a good website so that I can purchase remedy. I have asked him what his sympthoms are and all he says is that he has pain in the kidney area and can not urinate all in one round. He walks, & jumps around alot and can not sitdown or lie down. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance~
Something for pain would also be great.

homeopathy Holistic
Jared L asked:

…. how can homeopathic remedies bought over the counter by a patient possibly work? What is holistic about that? Surely the unqualified patient has just guessed without getting the so-called tailored remedy?
“Homeopathy has never said it was holistic”

You’re kidding, right?

On virtually every single quack website this is exactly what is claimed. It’s for this reason that homeoquacks claim it can’t be clinically tested in the way every other medicine has to be.

I find the Daily Mail nasty (particularly Littlejohn) so I have not read it for a long time. Is it for or against quackery? I have no idea.
