You may have heard the recent news that Zicam has been linked to permanent loss of smell because of zinc in the spray or nasal swab. The news reports also reveal that this “medicine” is based on homeopathic nonsense. I looked at a container of Zicam, and I didn’t see the words “homeopathic” or “zinc” anywhere on the bottle or box.

Does anyone know what other popular over-the-counter products are based on bogus homeopathy?

I’m Not a Fan of Zicam, but Looks, Offhand, as “Damning By the Word”. If an “Expert” is Unable to Back Up their Words, then it Might as Well Be Magic. This is Commonplace. Many Times I’ve Heard Words By “Experts” Stated as Unequivocal, Which I Knew Couldn’t Possibly Be True.
